Ireland is the emerald island and a great pike destination in Europe. According to the Melview Lodge fishing report, last week three lodge gusts (Sylvian Vivarelli, Baudry Michel, Bour Hervé and Étienne Denoyer from France) enjoyed a great weeks pike fishing in Longford. With only few small pike to 14 pound - 7 kilo showing for the first couple of days the lads were wondering when the big one’s would show. this happen when wobbling dead baits done the trick and produced some cracking pike to over 27 pound - 12.30 kilo. The same day an other angler, Etienne Denoyer ,caught the biggest pike of the week with a fish 27 pound and 9 oz.
