Georgia is home to one of the most famous bass ever caught, the George Perry, 22-pound, 4-ounce bass landed in Montgomery Lake is still recognized as the largest largemouth ever landed, but there is a bass in Ocmulgee Public Fishing Area that’s gaining on it.
During a Georgia Department of Natural Resources survey, officials found a 13-pound, 4-ounce bass in 106-acre lake located in Bleckley and Pulaski counties.
