MALAYSIA: two more snakehead IGFA world records

Today's news from our Malaysian jungle trip is two more IGFA world records to be added to our tally.

This time for the snakehead length category. Both were set today Oct. 5 by Belgium angler Philippe Pleticx and by yours truly.

Both record catches break the current 75 cm length record held by legendary world record hunter Marty Arostegui.

I profit of this mail to give a special big thank you to the people we love and who have always support us: our good friends from Shimano Corporation USA, Sage, Sebile lures, and VMC France.

Both fish were caught in the very same area where I caught the 8.21 kg yesterday.

I am confident we could eventually break again the now 80 cm pending length record within the another 4 days we have to fish before returning to Thailand on Oct. 10.

Let's end by a nice shot of another "snake" we encountered while fishing in the jungle....the kind you do not mess around with: the deadly and highly poisonous bandit krait....that's the kind of wild stuff you often have to deal with when jungle fishing in remote areas of Southeast Asia....
