Angler Robert McMillan was fishing off the coast of Unst in Scotland (europe) when he landed a spectacular 29.76 pound turbot. McMillan was aboard the charter boat "Oberon" when he embarked on the 25 minute battle to land the record turbot. It sets the state record for Scotland, but the all United Kingdom record is still set with a British fish that weighed 33 pounds and12 ounces in old 1980.
