IGFA: "Hot Catches" news

The I.G.F.A has recently released a new list of potential world record catches. It must be noted that these catches are currently undergoing the review process, and by now are not official world records. Here a couple:

Angler Fumiya Okuyama (Japan) caught this scalpel sawtail while fishing off of Japan’s Miyake Island. It weighed 5 lbs, 8 oz, measured in at 46 cm, and was caught using krill as bait.

This beautiful and colorfull golden trout was caught by angler Rick Mickelsen. He caught the monster in Wyoming’s "Golden Lake", using a nymph fly. The trout measured in at 54 cm. and is currently undergoing the review process for all-tackle "length" world record.
