GREAT BRITAIN: record breme broken again

On Friday, a carp angler landed the largest common bream in the history of Britain, which incredibly, is believed to be the same fish that broke the record in 2005 and again in 2009.
Simon Lavin, who caught a 20-pound, 2-ounce bream from a gravel pit in southern Britain last year, held the official British record, but with Scot Crook’s unintended catch of the trip, Lavin’s record was left in the dust.
Crook’s improbable bream weighed in at a staggering 23 pounds even – the heaviest weight ever recorded in Britain, officially or unofficial.
