BAHAMAS: 60 plus pound permit caught on fly

Anglers Bob Cosgriff and Barry Kanavy, decided to flee the cold winter weather and visit Grey's Point Bonefish Inn off Acklins in the Bahamas for some of its famed bonefishing.

They went out with top flats guide Garon Williamson and the had a wonderful day to remeber. In fact Bob caught on fly one of the largest permit ever caught in recent years. A fish estimated to be over 60 pound - 27.2 kilo.

Cosgriff used a "Helios2", 9-weight with "Nautilus NV" reel, Rio 9-weight permit line connected to a "Rio" 20 pound leader, ending with a tan "Kung Fu" crab sized 4.
