According with top Ireland fishing guide Michael Flanagan the past weekend anglers Robert and Philip Smith produced some beautiful
pike from Lough Ree. They boated four great pike including a 15 pound fish,
two 18 pound fish, and Robert topped the day by rattling the scales
with a New Year cracker of 25 pound. Fortunately all pikes went back healthy and in perfect condition, after a quick
photograph.
