The south east part of Australia is the home of one of the biggest freshwater predator, the Murray cod. This giant murray cod was caught at the beginning of this month at Blowering Dam by angler Peter Connors. He was spin fishing with a spinnerbait when the monster fish eat the lure.
The murray cod is one of the biggest ever caught in recent years; this fish was measured in 51 inch -130 cm in length and was estimated to weigh over 45 kilo - 100 pound.
