DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: 800 pound tiger shark

In the Dominican Republic a Tiger shark ( Galeocerdo cuvier ) said to be ca. 800 pounds in weight was landed. According to the source, fishermen captured this specimenin the waters of Las Terrenas in the Samaná Province.
