THAILAND: caught an 800 lb giant stngray

While river fishing in Thailand (Asia) angler and TV host Jeff Corwin helps land what may be the largest freshwater fish ever caught, a freshwater stingray weighs of about 800 pounds - 362 kilos.

The monster size fish was released after the catch and measured 14 feet from head to tail. Its weight was only estimated, using a time-tested measurement formula.

The fish was caught on Mekong river and the catch will be featured on an upcoming “Ocean Mysteries” episode.
