Fishing off Cairns in Great Barrier Reef, Australia, Capt. Ross Finlayson on "Top Shot" weighed a 1,111 lb - 503 kg black marlin for Stephanie Choate.
The huge black marlin was caught on 50 lb tackle and is a pending IGFA Women’s World Record for the specie.
Capt. Finlayson has caught three Grander Black Marlin within a week including this huge one. Top Shot have caught 70 Black Marlin on the current season, including 17 over 800 lbs
